Workshop Facilitator Training

In the introduction, you will get a walk through of the program outline and expectations. You will begin work on addressing your mindset and shifting your mindset to one that is a growth mindset which is necessary to succeed in the program.

During this module, you will learn how to identify and describe your core philosophies and beliefs about child development, and from there, select a workshop topic that you feel confident teaching to your niche audience.

In this module, you will learn how to structure an effective workshop presentation, create an outline for your workshop presentation content, and choose specific stories, examples, discussion topics, and activities to utilize throughout your workshop to help make it engaging for your participants.

In this module, you will learn how to enhance your public speaking and presentation skills and confidence as a facilitator, best practices for being an effective presenter (both online and in-person), and how to avoid many of the common presentation mistakes that contribute to a negative experience for workshop participants.

In this module, you will learn how to effectively manage the participants in your workshop (both online and in-person), create a safe space for participants, encourage discussions, and minimize disruptive behaviour among participants. 

In this module, you will finalize the content and the design of your workshop presentation, plus prepare any additional resources for your workshop participants. 

In this module, you begin to learn the basics of writing a proposal to help you get hired as a workshop facilitator.

In this one-on-one call you get to ask about strengthening your workshop, writing your proposal and/or getting hired to maximize your success.

Yes, any participant who successfully completes all the of training and assignments in this program will receive a Certificate of Completion. 

No, we do not offer discounts to groups. Every participant in this program will receive the same level of support and coaching from the Program Facilitator, regardless of whether or not they have colleagues participating in the program with them. 

This training will only focus on content creation, presentation skills and facilitation skills. We cannot guarantee that you get hired as a Workshop Facilitator. Getting hired to create and/or facilitate workshops will depend on a variety of factors that we cannot control. We offer consulting and more training that focuses directly on writing proposals and getting hired.

If you apply to join this program, our expectation of you is that you are committed to attending the live training sessions and completing all the work in a timely manner. The objective of our application process is help ensure you have an accurate understanding of program expectations and are likely to achieve the outcomes promised. If we are not confident in your ability to achieve the outcomes, we will tell you why and refer you to other trainings or programs that might be more suitable for you. Refunds will not be issued within one week leading up to the first training day.
